From the South
- Leave the M6 motorway at junction 36
- Take A591 towards Kendal / Windermere / Lake District
- At the roundabout north of Kendal, continue along the A591 towards Windermere
- Continue for about 5 miles, reduce your speed as you pass the sign for Ings village.
- Drive along the main road; pass the Esso Petrol Station, the church and the Watermill Inn on the left hand side. Watch out for the 40mph speed camera!
- At the end of the central reservation, manoeuvre into the middle of the road to turn right. Do not turn right into Grassgarth Lane.
- We have a green sign with white writing "THE HILL”. Turn right into the drive.
From the North
- Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 40
- Take the A66 towards Keswick
- Take A591 towards Windermere/ Kendal / Lancaster/ M6
- Pass through Windermere. Stay on the A591
- Continue for about 1.5 miles; reduce your speed as you pass the sign for Ings Village.
- After about 100 metres pass a lane to the left signposted ‘High Borrans’.
- Beyond the junction to the left; on the left side of the road there are 2 driveways which join the main road. We are the second one. We have a green sign with white writing "THE HILL”. Turn left into the drive.
