**COVID-19 GUEST INFORMATION**

Things are a little different from pre Covid days but, as ever, caring for our guests is our top priority.
We just wanted to assure you that we’re doing our absolute best to stay on top of everything as we
navigate through this constantly changing world. All Covid-19 policies are based on current UK
government guidelines and are being constantly reviewed based on the latest advice. With that in
mind, some of the information you receive at the time of booking may be out of date by the time you
stay at The Hill BnB.

Face coverings are now a personal choice and although we’d encourage you to wear them in enclosed
spaces, obviously we can’t enforce it, we just ask that you be considerate to others when staying with
us. As The Hill is our home as well as our business, we will be wearing masks, hand sanitising and
social distancing, where possible. Government advice is that if you test positive for COVID-19, you
should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. For us that would mean closing the
business.

The guest bedrooms will be left vacant, where possible, for a period of 24 hours between guests to
limit the potential presence of the virus on the surfaces, and to allow us to intensively clean the
rooms. We will be focusing our attention on the cleaning of all hand contact surfaces. Room keys will
be sanitised in-between each stay. No guest glassware, crockery or cutlery is hand washed - it all goes
through the dishwasher. All linen is professionally laundered. One of the measures we have used to
help stop the spread of Covid 19 is to treat all rooms and shared areas within The Hill BnB
with ElectroClean, electrostatic sanitation to provide deep cleaning that kills 99.99% of viruses and
bacteria with lasting effects of up to 28 days.

We will not perform full room service during your stay. However, we will enter your room, taking
necessary precautions, to top up items on the hot drinks welcome tray, empty the waste bins and
clear away breakfast items. Unless you are staying with us for more than five nights, we will only
clean your room if you ask us to, otherwise cleaning will take place after  five nights. Fresh towels and
other supplies will be available on request. We will not enter your room after 1pm or if you are
present in the room.

We are delighted to now offer breakfast, served around our shared dining table, in our bright and
sunny dining room, between 8 and 9am every day during your stay with us. You can make your
choices from the menu, at the table, with all items being brought from the kitchen. We will not ask
for pre-orders, but kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with the breakfast menu, so that we are
able to take your order swiftly when you arrive at the table for breakfast.

We will continue to serve our pre ordered picnic style breakfast delivered to your room for those
guests who prefer breakfast in a more relaxed way, or for those who remain anxious about mixing
with others. Picnic Breakfasts will be delivered to your room in a wicker basket any time between 8
and 10am. The picnic style breakfast can be eaten in your room or in our lovely garden if weather
conditions are favourable.
